I started out as a photographer capturing landscapes and loved it. The feeling of harmony and connection with our beautiful world becomes palpabile in the early beams of dawn. With the sound of the echoing surf breaking on the beach, the chill in the air was refreshing and exhilarating. The extra hour afforded by the end of Daylight Savings Time meant I could convince my wife to accompany me to the cliffside before dawn. Sharing something this beautiful made the sunrise even sweeter.

This month's picture is from a trip my wife and I took a few years ago to Sedona AZ. We participated in a balloon ride to get a different perspective of the beauty of Sedona and it was amazing. The trip began in the pre-dawn light and created spectacular views as the day filled in the darkness. Enjoy.

Every year for my wife's birthday we visit Ocean City Maryland for a few days. Early Sunday morning, while most of the beachgoers were still sleeping, I was out on the beach anticipating a glorious sunrise. I wasn't disappointed.
