In their second and final matchup of the season the Arizona Coyotes visited the Philadelphia Flyers. I try to shoot the warm ups before the game because I can get pictures of the players without their helmets on, and they seem to be a little less focused on keeping an eye on the puck so I can capture some eyes and expressions.
Ray Emery began the game for the Flyers while Steve Mason, still recovering from injury, rested on the bench. The Coyotes scored two goals in the first few minutes of play and that was enough for head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers, Craig Berube, to call Steve Mason into action.
R.J. Umberger tied the game during the second period bringing the Flyers back from their early deficit.
The game was forced into overtime with the score tied at three and then further into a game ending shootout. Wayne Simmons flicked in the final goal claiming a hard fought victory for the Flyers.
